This year Living Language even included a 20 minute CD that was a mini French lesson, a word in English, then pronounced in French etc., etc. Received it in perfect condition. Very nice. Been buying these Living Language-French calendars for a few years. This is first time thru Amazon (2009).
The level should be ramped up to include more current slang and less high school phrases. A word or phrase a day, but the level of French is below previous calendars like this one.
The CD it comes with would be very helpful to new French students. I love knowing that I am working on my french, just a little bit, day to day. I love this product. I speak French pretty well, but it is nice to have the grammar & pronunciation reinforcement.
Thanks. am learning a phrase a day. serves both as a calendar and translator. I liked it and it introduces me to some of the language.
